Lydia Eisenblatter
Lydia Eisenblätter’s smiling journey began in the heart of green thuringia in deepest east Germany. As a young lady, she swallowed the charm of the night, wrestling behind the bar with ice cubes and brandy, she came into contact with the crispy waves breaking out of the loudspeakers. She was enthralled by the retrograde influences of the special ones; Barry White, Marvin Gaye and Byron Stingily to name but a few. In 2009 her love for music grew and soon thereafter, swapped the bar for the DJ booth. She had found her forté and her sound, drawing a harmonious interplay between funk, techno and house. Her sound is many things; rough, dry, floating - many elements without too many frills, including sharp hi-hats, groovy bass, claps and synthesizers. Always with a sparkle in her eye, Lydia lights a fire on the dance floor.
