Flikos

Here we go with Mad Hatter catalogue number 002. This EP is featuring two original tracks by the greek duo Alexandros Djkevingr and Greg Ignatovich, who have recently reached top positions in global electronic music charts.

The EP starts with Filikos, an uplifting and atmospheric tune, inspired by middle eastern sound scapes and catchy groove lines. According to Alexandros Djkevingr, one half of the duo, Filikos is their most important work to date. Secondly this EP is featuring the duos original track Hell Us, which is an atmospheric Tech House groover, very well arranged, with more than 20 different instruments.

On the remix duties we have fran&co, Paul Anthonee and Toni Rios. The first rework can be described as a delicant tribal Afro House monster, with many of the elements from the original track used within. fran&co's version of Filikos is fitting perfectly to a variety of sub-genres and can easily be added to almost any House set. Secondly the highly talented Paul Anthonee, who has recently released on Coyu's Suara imprint, steps up to deliver a massive Techno rework of Filikos. Paul is showing why he is described as an upcoming star of electronic music by delivering delicious evocative melodies combined with a powerful groove, which will leave with your jaws dropped on the dancefloor. Last but not least Cocoon Icon Toni Rios steps up to close this EP in a way only a few are capable to. Toni's version of Hell Us is a totally up-to-date Tech House bomb, driven by powerful basslines and sublime pads that are constantly raising the bar throughout the whole tune.

A bright and colorful second release on Mad Hatter and you can expect much more during the next months.
