The relationship between Circus Recordings and Kydus continues. Kydus music is in the boxes of every major dj around the world, staying underground but still appealing to a wider dynamic, djs as poles apart as Marco Carola & Carl Cox to Eric Prydz & Pete Tong are all supporters. Boomtang and My People are certain to follow the pattern of success from last summer's colossal (and still lingering) Transatlantic and What You Feel, and the previous summer's anthemic Free Spirit & Cala El Verano. As well as peppered releases on Glasgow Uunderground, Under No Illusion and Terminal M and collaborations with Yousef who's astounding Jupiter Rising is still connecting Label owner Yousef has been hammering Boomtang and has been slipped it out a couple of his close friends, Carl Cox, Eats Everything, Patrick Topping, and some guy called Pete Tong, who are already massively behind it. Meanwhile My People sits at the fronts of the boxes of Steve Lawler and Hot Since 82 et al. A good start... Kydus is rare talent, a seasoned DJ and a serious producer. He makes tracks that are cool enough for the underground but always effortlessly reach the spectrum of clubbers. After years of delivering, Circus Recordings believe this has to be Kydus breakthrough Ep of the year...
