ROUMEX a rising name within Germany and Europe was founded at the beginning of 2016 and unites the genres of Techno and Deephouse. Every track or single idea emerges from classical instruments such as a piano or a violin. The integration of orchestral instruments is a crucial element of their live show. Before their paths crossed, Johannes and Phillipp already gained experience in different music projects.Their passion for music also developed during a professional violin or piano studies programme at the college. With a heavy emphasis on incorporating and drawing inspiration from the classical world, the duo have gone on to support the likes of Bart Skills, Einmusik, Felix Kröcher, Reinier Zonneveld and more. Two sets have also been supported by the homepage of “Jeden Tag ein Set”. Following a release on Pour La Vie Rec., and Erick Morillo’s inclusion of the title track ‘Saphirah’ in his 2017 Subliminal Sessions compilation, here see the pair return to deliver their debut Kittball Records EP ’’Tantalis’’ to close out 2017. The maintitle “Tantalis” also made it into the Beatport Top 100 Deephouse on #13 and got honorably mentioned by BBC Radio One host Pete Tong in his “New Names Mix 2018”.Hard work, the ambition to constantly improve themselves and follow new musical paths drives them to create their unique sound. Their future aim? To get the chance to play at festivals containing personal memories and enchant every single visitor with the passion for music they live for.
