Born in Cologne and raised near Frankfurt and in the south of Germany, Peter Pardeike discovered his passion for music and design at a very early stage in his life. He grew up influenced by the 80ies electro, EBM, funk music and the big area of music videos and computer graphics.
In the early 90ies, he found himself in a club experiencing a DJ set from techno legend Jeff Mills. From that point on the fascination and massive energy of techno and house never let go off him, and eventually lead him to start DJing in clubs in south Germany. Shortly after that he found his way into producing his own music and performing live sets, next to running his successful graphic design business.
After releasing some of his work under his past pseudonym Repete, including a remix of Henrik Schwarz’s track “Leave My Head Alone Brain” on the Sunday Music imprint, he decided to continue his music career as Peter Pardeike. By that time, he already started to collaborate with Innervisions artist Marcus Worgull, with whom he produced the track “Salam”. As a result of this, Pardeike made his first appearance on the Innervisions imprint run by Âme and Dixon, with the release of the “Muwekma” EP in 2012.
