Rising

Pirupa is an established DJ and producer that has been attracting a great deal of attention over the past few years. Originating from Italy but residing in London he has signed productions to an impressive list of respected record labels including Drumcode, Crosstown Rebels, Desolat, Snatch!, Get Physical, Defected, Saved, Noir Music and many more. Recognised as a standout talent by Pete Tong and fresh from recent BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut, where he had an opportunity to display his varied DJ style. Piero Pirupa’s productions have a distinct feel, subtle retro influences, tough beats, unique vocal layers and mass dance floor appeal. Respected by DJs and clubbers alike 2016 will surely be a big year for this young Italian. With the Rising EP Pirupa showcases NS013 on his own beloved imprint NONSTOP both in digital and vinyl formats. With this new production he joins forces with Bon Homme aka Tomas Høffding the singer and bass player in legendary Danish club rockers WhoMadeWho. You will also find remixes from Metodi Hristov the Bulgarian based experimental DJ and producer and a further remix by Brain Zoo - Pirupa’s alter ego on Drumcode. Track Breakdown: Pirupa Feat Bon Homme - Rising (Original Mix) This is a pacey disco influenced track with a melodic floaty vocal that starts gently and builds to all out gripping chorus. Spacey and dark in places driving and energetic, with big synth lines and sweeps. Pirupa Feat Bon Homme - Rising (Metodi Hristov Remix) This is a much more main room housey affair with big break downs and full of energy and drive retaining all the essential parts of the original. Pirupa Feat Bon Homme - Rising (Brain Zoo Remix) Rawer acid house influenced affair, driving and pacey with sharp electronic claps.
