With constant thirst to expand their musical experience, AFFKT confesses he was Likewise sought, the idea of making an album was not premeditated but work with Cuban musicians was the seed of the project that has been enriched by the experiences of the latter year and a half. "Punto 0" is not just a physical or spatial concept that indicates the base or the beginning, is also known as secret fortress-residence of Fidel Castro in Cuba. A mysterious place that no one stands at all, which can not be controlled from outside. The name fascinated Marc when he heard of the place in La Havana, where the album was taking shape, and completed after in Berlin, Brazil and Valencia. This "Point 0" is the result AFFKT research from his music, the story about of the life and musical journey. This is not a succession of tracks for Dj, even when many of them are made to play, but this a whole concept from the beggining to the end, with a history behind. "I wanted to make an album that I would like to listen," says Marc about the project. Every season of this musical journey makes sense as the album, in the words of the author "moves in various directions, often near points away from electronic music," and beyond clichés and common points. AFFKT sought strokes of his different sounds in "Point 0". He has collaborated on this album with an eclectic group of international talented artists such Mathias Kaden, Marcin Czubala, dOP, Argenis Brito, Darlyn Vlys, APDW or Sutja Gutierrez. With the sounds of the journey has born this story that Marc channeled through 16 tracks, including bridges and interludes, creating a special atmosphere that you miss when it's gone.
