The Brazilian born artist Waltervelt was always connected to art since his early childhood, collecting cassete tapes and CDs. That was 2001 and at that point he already had been researching down to the deepest roots of dance music, listening all between from contemporary Techno to Kraftwerk. His first performance was in 2009 and after that he understood that this would be his life, but was only in 2013 that he was able to really express himself and started paving his own way to music creation. A lot of effort was put into it and in 2016 our talented James became WALTERVELT, and in just 3 years on this new path he was able to achieve two of his main goals as a Techno producer; having his music been played by the likes of Maceo Plex and Solomun, and releasing through Ellum Audio. This gave him much more confidence and recognition as a serious professional and the result were a few more distinct releases, including an Album Sampler and a four-track on Ellum Audio as well. Undoubtly a hot name to follow!
