In recent years Carlos Aguilar aka IAAM, Born in Madrid and raised in MallorcaBeing introduced to Disco, House, Techno, Dub and other forms of electronic music at a early age, he first began exploring DJ'ing in 2002 under the influence of a DJ from Mallorca, called Danny Ocean (Desolat).Cause his love for electronic music, he continued his studies, eventually graduating from sound engineering. In 2004, he began an ongoing residency at Riu and Titos club in Mallorca Island, where he further honed his skills as a DJ.This was not enough to satisfy IAAM, and in 2007 he moved to Barcelona. From 2010 to 2015, IAAM held a residency at Monkey Bar parties (BCN), where extended sets at the end of long nights of partying allowed him to further develop his eclectic groove.A watershed moment in his career came in 2011 when he was invited to play at Space Ibiza. Throughout his career, he has played with world-class artists such as Marcel Dettmann, Pulshar, Daniel Bell, Deetron, Nina Kravitz, Javi Bora, Sebo K, Patrick Speck, Jus Ed, Dj Qu, Kirk Degiorgio.Since then, IAAM has quickly developed as a producer and a DJ, since playing at many of the most important clubs, such as La Florida 132 (Huesca), Macarena (Bcn), City Hall (Bcn), Razzmatazz (Bcn), BeCool (Bcn), Ker (Bcn), Lanna (Gijón), White Club (Tolouse), Garito Café (P.Mallorca), Pacha Mallorca, Titos (P.Mallorca).
He is currently producing with his friend and artist Javi Bora (Suara, Do Not Sleep) and releasing releases on labels of great importance in the current music scene like: Robsoul, Music For Freaks, Flashmob, Spilt Milk, Roush, Savor Music, I Records, Natural Rhythym, Neovinyl, Clock.
