Flashcrash EP

Son of a Thousand Sounds, the long-awaited sophomore AFFKTs LP is just around the corner (release date: September 23). But before that happens, now, right now were very glad to introduce you Flashcrash, the last single to be released before the album is out.

First of all notice that this new song includes once again the vocal featuring of Sutja Gutierrez. A skilled singer appearing also on The Show (first single taken from the album) and Someone in the Sky (second single). With his inclusion Pop sensations have definitely taken a back seat in favour of uncompromising dance floor utility. Sometimes funky and fresh, sometimes emotional and breath-taking. This time Sutja offers a more serious and sinister voice that recalls some mesmerizing but pained Placebos song, who knows, maybe hunted within an electronic box.

The icing of this freshly baked cake is thanks to the remixers fellas: Renato Cohen and dubspeeka, both highly respected artists, complete the diversified and sophisticated electronic journey of the Spanish talent. São Paulo-based artist demonstrates once again his natural talent on the groove. Pecks and sparkles of very dynamic vocal samples layered with scratchy percussion loops. A killer house track finally invigorated with an agile bass-line. In the other hand the shadowy Bristolian producer dubspeeka doing his own war. He signs another booming at the same time smart- techno soundscape. An authentic intoxicating dancefloor cut.

An EP of three different guises it may be, but each one is worth embracing here.
